Unbelievably Simple Homemade Honey Cherry Sorbet
Posted by Rachel Fera onHey Honey, our favorite kind of homemade snacks are ones that are super easy to make. It’s hard to believe something this delicious requires so little work, but this Honey Cherry Sorbet by eatwell101 only has two steps (and one of them is putting it in the freezer).
Ingredients
- 1 pound cherries fresh or frozen and slightly thawed, pitted
- ¼ cup honey, or preferred sweetener
- 1 cup water
Directions
- Blend cherries, honey and water in a food processor or high-speed blender until combined and smooth. Adjust sweetness to your liking with remaining honey.
- Pour into a rectangular loaf pan and smooth into an even layer. Freeze for 2 hours, or until frozen but still a little soft for scooping. Enjoy!
Note: If freezing overnight, cover with a lid or plastic wrap. Allow sitting at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes before serving for easier scooping.
Desserts don't get much easier than this, honey!
